GRILL PLATE OF ENAMELLED STEEL: SIMPLE AND UNCOMPLICATED
The enamelling process of the grill plate is done manually and with great care. The 6 mm thick enamelled steel grill plate provides excellent heat distribution and very good grill quality at high temperatures. The plate is smooth and non-sticky and does not require the addition of fat. Enamelled steel does not oxidize, is scratch-resistant and can be quickly cleaned with a cleaning spatula. Quality control ensures perfect consistency over time. Enamelled steel is the equivalent of enamelled cast iron, but has the advantage of heating faster.
 
QUICK AND HEALTHY GRILLING
The plancha grill Simplicity is ignited in a matter of seconds thanks to the double electric piezo. The 2 high quality stainless steel burners can reach a temperature of up to 350°C in a few minutes. The two independent cooking zones of the plancha make it possible to prepare all kinds of food at different temperatures. A removable grillage is positioned on the back of the plancha and allows to keep the food hot for a long time. The plancha is ideal for the preparation of red and white meat, fish, vegetables and fruits, without the addition of fat.
CLEANING THE PLANCHA GRILL WITH ENAMELLED STEEL GRILL PLATE
The removable drip tray is located on the back of the plancha grill for easy cleaning. The grease drip tray can be removed in two easy steps and is dishwasher safe. On the hot plancha clean with water or white vinegar, on the cold plancha with water and detergent. Barbecue residues on the plancha can be easily removed with the stainless steel cleaning spatula. The plancha is cleaned within 3 minutes and thereby looks like new after each use.

Can the cooking surface be removed?
Yes :) All Verycook's gas plancha cooking surfaces are removable. Their weight varies between 13 kg (2 fires) and 18 kg (3 fires). Transporting the plancha is therefore easier and it is possible to clean the hotplate separately if necessary.
What is the thickness of the cooking plates of the Simplicity plancha?
Enamelled steel plate: 6mm thick (plate with 2 layers of enamel for more strength)
Solid stainless steel plate 2 burners: 6mm thick (100% solid stainless steel plate)
Solid stainless steel plate plancha 3 burners: 7mm thick (100% solid stainless steel plate). We have chosen to opt for 7 mm thick to ensure that this large cooking surface has perfect thermal resistance.
All Verycook baking trays have a high thickness making the baking tray robust, resistant over time. This accentuates the quality of diffusion of heat as well as its distribution.
How do I clean my enamelled steel plate?
The grill plate made of enamelled steel is very easy to clean and to find this grill plate as if it was new.
You can clean your hot enamelled steel plate at the end of the grilling with fresh water or white vinegar.
It is recommended to use the Verycook cleaning spatula to properly scrape food residues from the grill surface. Since the stainless steel cleaning spatula lies flat on the plate, there is no risk of scratching the enamel layer.
It is also possible to use the effective Verycook cleaning spray.

What are the dimensions of the grease tray of the Simplicity Planchas?
The dimensions of the grease trap for the Simplicity 2-burner and 3-burner plancha are: 27 x 5 x 12 cm (L x W x H). It is positioned at the back of the griddle. Here is a picture of the grease trap with a capacity of 1L. The tray is removable and dishwasher safe.
