Using and installing your plancha for the first time
No matter which type of cooking surface you have, follow our instructions before using your plancha for the first time! The plancha has been designed for an easy use and guarantees you successful grilling parties. Simply regulate the temperature of the burners with the flame control knobs. After using your plancha, read our cleaning tips so that your plancha looks as good as new!
Take your Verycook plancha grill out of its packaging and locate the gas pipe that is included.
Attach one end to the back left side of your Verycook plancha griddle then connect the other side of the hose to the gas regulator of your gas bottle.
Put your cooking surface on the core structure and attach the grease drip tray at the back of the plancha.
Release the safety valve on the gas regulator and open the gas inlet located on the regulator.
Press one of the two control knobs on the Verycook plancha grill for a few seconds and then press the red button (piezo) on the right to spark.
Your plancha griddle is lit and fit for use.
Should you have any problems lighting your plancha grill, please consult the instruction manual, which is in the fabric bag.
The plancha grill Verycook works with butane or propane gas. We recommend you to use propane gas because it won’t freeze in winter.
Please pay attention to the fact that your plancha doesn’t work with natural gas.
Then light your plancha and let it heat for a few minutes. Pour a few drops of oil onto it and cook your food.
Before using your plancha grill the first time, we recommend that you wash the griddle plate with water and a sponge to remove any impurities from the packaging.

The grilling season is over; it is time to put away your plancha! For your plancha to be in good condition next grilling season, here are some tips:
Start with a thorough cleaning of your griddle plate, grease drip tray and colourful coating.
You can also cover the plate with a cloth to protect it from moisture and oxidation.
Place the stainless steel lid provided on the plancha for this purpose.
Cover with the rain cover specially designed for your Verycook plancha.
You can leave your covered plancha gas grill outside, but it is better to store it in a place safe from the elements.
We recommend that you turn on your plancha grill for a half an hour in order to clean before the first use of the season. This will clean your grill and destroy the impurities that accumulated during the winter. Allow the plancha to cool.
Your plancha is ready for a new season! Now get cooking!
