During the enamelling method the cooking surface is being coated twice with a fine enamel and then hardened in an oven at 800°C. The 6 mm-thick cooking surface enables a perfect heat distribution as well as a very good quality cooking at high temperature. The cooking surface is perfectly smooth and anti-adhesive, it is therefore not necessary to add fats. The enamelled steel cooking surface is at the same time durable and rust-free. It doesn't fear water or fats and can be cleaned with stainless steel spatulas. Enamelled steel is the equivalent of enamelled cast iron but has the advantage of a faster heating process.
