The problem will be solved with a stainless steel plate fixed on the front and at the same time it would hide the gas bottle. Verycook should offer this as an option because here we are facing the sea and stainless steel is essential otherwise... Here everything is rusty in 3 months... After many delivery problems, I can finally use the ordered plancha with its lid and a trolley. Unfortunately, the set of spatulas offered with the order was never delivered despite a phone call back!!! Can be lost as the first plancha ???? On the quality side, if there was not this unglazed weld on the lid, it would be perfect. Fortunately, on the kitchen side, after 3 uses it's quite good, at least much better than with a BBQ. Cleaning is a bit long but it should be the case for all planchas, especially if you want it to stay clean. In the end, I don't know whether to recommend or not Verycook ...
