For the care of the grill plate we recommend the special Verycook degreaser for the plancha grill plate.
Use this cleaner on a cold grill plate. After spraying the cleaner onto the grill surface (rolled steel, enamelled steel or stainless steel), let it act for about 10 minutes.
Now it is important to rinse the grill surface well with clear water and to dry the plate with a towel, sponge or paper towel.
Warm the grill plate up for a few minutes after cleaning.

All grill plates of the Verycook plancha gas grills are removable. Their weight varies between 13 kg (2 burners) and 18 kg (3 burners).
The transport of the plancha is thus easier and it is possible to clean the grill plate separately if necessary.

You can clean your hot laminated steel grill plate with fresh water, ice cubes or white vinegar at the end of the grilling process.
The laminated steel grill plate can be coloured, this process is normal and is called seasoning. As a result, the plate achieves anti-adhesive properties. It is not necessary to try after each use to clean the laminated steel grill plate so that it looks like new again. The plate is patinated and is therefore more pleasant to use over time.
Once or twice a year, sandpaper (1,000 grit) can be used to remove the affected areas and maintain the condition of the original grill plate.
The laminated steel grill plate must be oiled to protect the plate from moisture and to prevent oxidation.

Les plaques de cuisson en acier laminé ou en inox peuvent brunir/noircir au fur et à mesure des utilisations, cela est tout à fait normal.
La plaque est brute et se culotte avec le temps c’est un phénomène naturel. C'est à dire qu’elle va brunir sur toute la surface de cuisson et c’est ce qui la rend anti-adhérente et anti-adhésive au fur et à mesure des utilisations.
Il ne faut donc pas chercher à retirer cela et à la retrouver comme au départ.
