Bananas flambé a la plancha

Cooking time : 5 min - Preperation time : 15 min - Serves : 10 people

Ingredients

  • 20 bananas
  • 20 cl of white rum
  • 100 g of butter
  • 300 g of sugar

Preparation :

  1. Put the rum, 10 g of butter and a teaspoon of sugar in a small sauce pan. Peal the bananas.
  2. Melt the rest of the butter and sugar on the plancha on low fire. As soon as the sugar caramelizes, add the bananas and grill them 2 minutes on each side.
  3. You have 2 possibilities: either you flambé the bananas on your plancha or directly on your plate.
  4. Trick : take bananas which are ripe enough. Serve them with a sorbet to create a surprising hot/cold effect.
